WHO IS RWO
its me! Riley Washburn O'Toole
​I started out in filmmaking from a young age.
Taking videos of my teddy-bears pretending to fight each other, then of my sick gameplay on battlefield, then skating. Filmmaking has stuck with me, and it allowed me to communicate things in my life to others the way I wanted it to. I knew straight away this would be my career choice.
In 2022, I completed a three-year course at the Australian Film, Television & Radio School specialising in cinematography, directing and editing. From there, I've worked across various roles as a cinematographer, content creator, assisting with lighting and camera as well as editing, VFX and colour grading.

And here we are now.​​
I love problem solving.

Whether it's strategising a solution to a business problem through content creation,
figuring out how to light a scene with minimal space and gear,
or trying to unravel deeper narrative elements in the editing process.
I feel energised when I'm faced with a challenge.​​
